February 20 is World Day of Social Justice. In commemoration of this day, the One Day Without Us campaign is being promoted throughout the UK. People, especially immigrants are encouraged to miss one day of work and to not shop in order to raise awareness of the employment impact immigrants make.
The United States had their One Day Without Us on February 16 as they felt it would make more of in impact if it happened on a regular work day.
