This is a little scary. December 12 is Poinsettia Day commemorating the death of Joel Roberts Poinsett (March 2, 1779 – December 12, 1851) the diplomat who introduced to the United States the beautiful flower known in Mexico as the Noche Buena.
It is also the Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe, patron saint of Mexico, whose story is deeply associated with flowers. Read more here.
But the weirdest thing is the full moon that will appear on December 12 at 12:12 a.m.
